The profound verse from the Quran (Q.S. Ghafir, 39) is a stark reminder: "O my people! This worldly life is only 'a fleeting' enjoyment, whereas the Hereafter is truly the home of settlement." In line with this, Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani held a Dauroh Janaiz for our grade 11 students, marking a moment in their educational and spiritual journey.
During this Dauroh Janaiz, the students delved into the Islamic duties of washing, shrouding, praying for, and burying the deceased. Under the guidance of Ustadz Eko Rodi Susanto, S.H.I., they gained theoretical knowledge and actively participated in the practical aspects of these obligations. This hands-on experience is emblematic of ICM's commitment to fostering a holistic understanding of Islamic teachings.
The training imparted during the Dauroh Janaiz bridges the students to one of the fundamental obligations of Muslims towards their fellow brothers and sisters. By immersing themselves in these sacred duties, the students have enriched their understanding of Islamic learning and embraced the profound sense of responsibility that comes with it.
It is hoped that the students will carry the knowledge gained from this experience into their future endeavours, serving as a guiding light in their lives. The understanding and practical experience acquired during the Dauroh Janaiz are not just academic accomplishments; they symbolize a deeper connection to the values and principles that form the foundation of the Islamic faith.
