At ICM, we believe that learning is best when it is hands-on, immersive, and connected to the natural world around us. That’s why we were excited to invite parents to our Early Childhood Program P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) event, themed "Playful Discoveries in Nature." The event served as a vibrant showcase of how our little learners explore, discover, and grow through play. Parents were warmly welcomed into the classrooms, where they had the chance to witness firsthand the incredible creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm their children bring to learning every day. This was a special occasion to celebrate the growth of each child and to highlight the meaningful experiences fostered in our play-based learning environment.

The class assemblies were designed to highlight the unique and playful ways each group engages with their environment. The Playgroup class hosted the "Five Senses Festival," an interactive event where children explored nature through sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. Parents were invited to join in as the children embarked on sensory adventures, feeling different textures also tasting various foods. The focus was to engage children’s natural curiosity while enhancing their sensory awareness through playful exploration of the world around them. It was a truly immersive experience that encouraged children to discover the wonders of nature with all of their senses.

Meanwhile, Kindergarten A brought the joy of summer to life with their "Ice Cream Festival," where the children had a blast learning about different flavors, colors, and textures while creating their own imaginary ice cream treats inspired by nature. Parents and children worked together to create delightful "ice cream" masterpieces from natural materials, sparking creativity and teamwork. In Kindergarten B, the theme was the "Play Festival," a celebration of free play and imagination, where children led activities that encouraged cooperative games, storytelling, and physical play. The event exemplified the power of play in early childhood development, fostering social skills, problem-solving, and creativity. This "Playful Discoveries in Nature" event was not just about showcasing children’s learning but also about building a community of parents, teachers, and students who share the joy of exploration and discovery.
