At Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani, we believe in providing our students with immersive experiences that broaden their horizons and prepare them for the challenges of the future.

Recently, our grade 5 and 6 students had the opportunity to participate in our Live In Program, a unique initiative designed to give them a taste of boarding school life.

The Live In Program spanned three days and two nights, during which our primary school students transitioned from the full-day format to the boarding format that is applied to our middle and high school students. This program aimed to introduce them to the routines and experiences of boarding school, fostering a sense of independence and adaptability.

Throughout their stay, the students embraced the boarding lifestyle. Sharing a room, they learned to navigate the dynamics of living with their peers, fostering lasting friendships, and developing vital teamwork skills. They also participated in daily worship sessions, fostering a spirit of unity and spirituality.

Beyond the usual academic curriculum, the Live In Program offered our students a range of enriching activities. They attended practical classes in our laboratories and the learning support center, engaging in hands-on learning experiences that challenged their critical thinking skills.

The program also focused on developing essential life skills. From baking mini bread in cooking sessions to participating in podcast sessions where they delved into various topics, our students discovered new passions and honed their communication and teamwork abilities.

ICM Live In Program provided our grade 5 and 6 students with a stepping stone towards their future education journey. By immersing themselves in the boarding school environment, they gained insight into the responsibilities and opportunities that come with it. This once-in-a-lifetime experience broadened their perspectives, increased their independence, and instilled in them a sense of self-reliance.

We believe that experiences such as the Live In Program nurture the holistic development of our students. It not only enhances their academic knowledge but also equips them with essential life skills and the ability to thrive in diverse settings.
