Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani School (ICM) proudly presents a new achievement from its 10th-grade student, Ronald Rauf Nurima, who won at the International Mathematics Exam Center (IMEC) in Sydney, Australia. In this competition, Ronald became champion at the Global Round Category 5 level, earning him the prestigious title of Gold Medalist in a tough competition organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMASO).

In the competition, held from 14 to 21 April 2024, Ronald competed with students from various countries such as England, China, Australia, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Hong Kong, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. Ronald can prove his ability in mathematics on the global stage. His victory this time is a manifestation of talent and dedication trained in a disciplined manner towards the field of mathematics.

Ronald's victory in this competition was also welcomed by Mukhamad Najib, Australia's Indonesian Education & Culture Attache (Atdikbud). Mukhamad Najib expressed his pride in the entire Indonesian delegation. Apart from Ronald, who succeeded in bringing a gold medal for Indonesia, the Indonesian delegation also received another gold medal, four silver medals, and ten bronze medals for the Olympics. Hence, this proves that Indonesia has quality human resources in the world competition.

Ronald's achievements were not just a victory for him but also a source of inspiration for students at ICM.
