Bright Minds Noble Hearts : A Glimpse into ICM Open Day 2026
07 September 2026

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, Insan Cendekia Madani (ICM) welcomed hundreds of parents to Open Day 2026, held under the theme “Bright Minds and Noble Hearts.” The event was designed to give prospective parents a closer look at ICM’s learning environment, academic programs, student support systems, and the experiences that shape students throughout their educational journey. It was also an opportunity for parents to see how ICM brings its educational approach into everyday school life, from classroom learning and student activities to the wider support systems and facilities that surround students.

The Open Day was divided into two sessions. The first session was dedicated to parents exploring the Early Childhood Program and Primary School, followed by the second session for Middle School and High School. Each session began with an opening led by our MCs, Panji, a High School student, and Kamila, a Middle School student, who warmly guided parents throughout the event.

The program featured a choir performance by Primary School students and a mini theatre performance entitled “Soneta Maya” by High School students. These performances offered parents an early glimpse of how students are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and develop their talents as part of their learning experience at ICM.

The main program continued with academic presentations delivered by the respective academic teams and school principals. The sessions provided parents with a broader understanding of ICM’s educational approach, going beyond the curriculum to explain how each school level supports students throughout their learning journey. One of ICM’s key highlights is its commitment to providing a balanced education, combining strong academic development with Islamic education and character building. Through this approach, students are encouraged to develop academically while also strengthening their faith, values, and character. The presentations also introduced the various supporting programs and learning experiences available at each level, giving parents a more comprehensive picture of what their children can experience at ICM.

Parents were also introduced to the various supporting programs and services available at ICM. These include the School Health Clinic, Learning Support Center (LSC), and Learning Resource Center (LRC), alongside other facilities designed to support students’ academic, physical, and personal development. At ICM, these different teams and services work together to create an environment where students can learn, grow, and receive the support they need at every stage of their journey. From academic assistance to health and learning resources, each element plays a role in supporting students as they develop both inside and outside the classroom.

Another highlight of the day was the School Tour, where parents were guided directly by ICM students. They visited classrooms, the library, music room, school resto, mosque, boarding facilities, sports hall, swimming pool, and many other areas across the school. Having students lead the tour gave parents an authentic perspective of daily life at ICM and allowed them to experience the spaces where students learn, connect, and take part in different activities.

Along the school hall, parents could also explore the Student Exhibition, featuring students’ projects and works created throughout their learning experiences. The exhibition reflected the creativity, effort, and learning processes behind the students’ work, giving parents a closer look at what happens inside and beyond the classroom.

To make the experience more informative, ICM also prepared dedicated booths where parents could speak directly with academic teams and ask more detailed questions about each program. A separate registration booth was also available for parents who were ready to register their children for their preferred program.

Open Day 2026 was a meaningful opportunity to bring parents closer to the ICM learning environment and show how every part of the school works together to support students’ growth. It brought together different parts of the ICM community in one shared experience, allowing parents to see the people, spaces, programs, and learning experiences that make up life at ICM.

We are grateful to everyone who spent their Saturday with us, and we look forward to welcoming more families into the ICM community. See you at next year’s Open Day!
