Yesterday, we gathered as a school community to commemorate Idul Adha, a day of profound faith, sacrifice, and compassion. With hearts full of gratitude and purpose, students, teachers, and staff came together in reflection and prayer. This year’s celebration, held under the theme “Embracing Blessings Through Sacrifice,” reminded us that true blessings are found in sincere devotion and in our willingness to give for the sake of others.
The day began with Idul Adha prayer, followed by a beautiful khutbah delivered by Habib Idrus Salim Aljufri, Lc., M.B.A. that encouraged us to reflect on the deeper meaning behind sacrifice. The atmosphere was serene yet powerful, a pause to reconnect with our values and intentions.
What made the occasion even more meaningful was the active involvement of our students. From helping organize the Qurban, participating in educational discussions, to distributing meat to the surrounding community, their enthusiasm and sense of purpose shone throughout the day. Their eagerness to contribute reflected a growing awareness that sacrifice is not only a religious act, but a personal commitment to empathy and service.
Idul Adha at ICM this year was a beautiful blend of tradition, learning, and compassion, a meaningful reminder of what it means to live a life rooted in faith and service. Through every prayer, every act of sacrifice, and every moment of giving, we were reminded of the values that shape not only our identity as individuals, but also our strength as a community.
As we move forward, may the lessons from this sacred celebration continue to shape our character and actions. May we grow into individuals who lead with kindness, walk with purpose, and serve with sincerity.
