Our recent Literacy Exhibition at Insan Cendekia Madani Primary School was a vibrant celebration of creativity and storytelling, centered around the theme From Ideas to Ink: Bringing Stories to Life. The event showcased the incredible talents of our Grade 1-6 students, as they expressed their literary and artistic abilities through a variety of captivating performances and exhibits.
The stage came alive with special performances, including a powerful drama musikalisasi inspired by the legendary story of Si Pitung. Audiences were also treated to heartfelt vocal performances and an energetic flashmob, all put together with great enthusiasm by our talented students. Each act highlighted the magic of storytelling through music, movement, and drama, a true testament to their hard work and creativity.
Beyond the performances, parents and guests explored interactive booths featuring an array of student works. These included books written by the students themselves, fascinating displays about electricity, explanations of the elements of a short story and many more. A cozy reading corner was also set up, filled with books created by ICM students, offering a variety of titles for everyone to enjoy. Adding to the charm of the event, there was a delightful puppet show where students took on the role of storytellers, bringing their characters to life with imagination and flair.
The Literacy Exhibition was not only a fun and engaging experience but also a heartwarming reminder of the boundless creativity within our young learners. Parents were deeply impressed by the event, with Bunda Vera Miranda, the mother of Lubna from Grade 1, sharing her thoughts: "The event was so amazing, and the students' works were incredibly creative. I hope to see more events like this in the future. Thank you, ICM." We look forward to continuing to nurture our students' passion for literacy and storytelling, inspiring them to turn their ideas into ink and their dreams into reality.
As we close this memorable event, may the stories shared and the creativity sparked during the Literacy Exhibition continue to inspire our students. Let this be a reminder that every great story begins with a simple idea, and with dedication and imagination, their words have the power to touch hearts, ignite minds, and change the world.
