At Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani, we believe that personal development goes beyond textbooks and classroom lectures. Recognising the importance of cultivating critical thinking, research skills, and systematic writing abilities, our school has incorporated student scientific paper activities into our Primary School Program up to High School Program.

These activities aim to nurture students' capability in systematic writing, familiarise them with appropriate research methods, and instil the importance of properly referencing sources when creating reports. Through this program, students are given the opportunity to engage in research based on their chosen topics while being guided by their teachers.

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of conducting research from the primary level. Under the guidance of their teachers, they learn how to formulate research questions, design methodologies, and gather valid data. This process allows students to develop critical thinking skills as they learn to analyse and interpret their findings.

As students progress through the different levels of their education, their research projects become more complex. They delve deeper into their chosen topics, exploring various angles and perspectives. This expands their knowledge and understanding and enables them to develop their unique insights and ideas.

At the end of the school year, our student researchers demonstrate their hard work and dedication through a defence in front of a panel of teacher examiners and their peers. This provides them with a platform to showcase their findings, articulate their research methods, and answer questions from the audience. The defence tests their knowledge and strengthens their presentation and public speaking skills. To ensure the program's effectiveness, the research papers produced by students are also preserved in ICM library.
