Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani, located in South Tangerang, has distinguished itself by producing outstanding graduates who can gain admission to top universities both domestically and internationally.
Until now, the environmentally conscious Adiwiyata school has graduated three classes comprising 159 students. These graduates have been accepted into leading Indonesian universities such as UI, ITB, ITS, IPB, and UGM. Notably, ICM alumni have also gained admission to prestigious universities worldwide, including the London School, International University Liason, The Hague University in the Netherlands, Bellerbys College in England, Nanyang University in Singapore, Winstar Aviation in America, Curtin University in Australia, Cardiff Sixth UK, Limkwoking Malaysia, and Institute Francais.
"We congratulate the students who have successfully advanced to university level. We hope to see a growing number of ICM graduates gaining admission to renowned campuses, as this serves as clear evidence of the school's ability to nurture exceptional talent," said Muzayyin Arif, Managing Director of ICM.
To sustain this achievement, Muzayyin is resolute in his commitment to further enhance the quality of ICM graduates, enabling them to compete successfully for enrollment in top universities both nationally and internationally.
Aligned with ICM's vision and mission to be a leading school that nurtures students' uniqueness to produce leaders with Islamic character, the school is dedicated to cultivating responsible members of civil society.
"InshaAllah, more ICM alumni will be accepted into public universities through the Joint PTN Entrance Selection (SBMPTN) or the independent route, and likewise into top private universities (PTS) and international universities," he expressed.
ICM remains steadfast in its dedication to evolving into a superior school founded on Islamic values. The school is guided by two pivotal orientations in formulating policies, encompassing both academic and non-academic aspects.
"The first orientation is short-term, aimed at positioning ICM as a solution to the challenges of modern society. The second orientation is long-term, focused on nurturing future leaders of the ummah and the nation," stated the Deputy Treasurer of the Indonesian Muslim Scholars Association (ICMI).
Furthermore, ICM continues to foster a moral foundation and Islamic character as the cornerstone for its students. This will be underscored in a new curriculum, the Madani curriculum, which combines the national curriculum and the Cambridge International curriculum. This curriculum will emphasise the internalisation of Islamic values and reinforcing moral principles.
"We are confident that one day, there will emerge a distinguished figure and national leader who will proudly proclaim their roots at ICM. We take pride in the diverse accomplishments of ICM students, be it in academics or enrollment at various top universities, both in Indonesia and abroad. Therefore, I extend my congratulations to the graduates, hoping that one day you will become intelligent and independent Islamic reformers," he concluded.
Although only five years old, ICM has gained widespread recognition for its achievements. The school is recognised as an Adiwiyata school and holds an A accreditation. ICM's infrastructure has also been acknowledged as one of Indonesia's 100 best architectural works. The school's commitment to environmental sustainability has earned it the Cooperative Education Unit (SPK) title from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
