Insan Cendekia Madani (ICM) recently had the honor of hosting distinguished educators from the EWAN Institute Jordan, in a collaborative program aimed at enhancing the quality of Arabic education. Their visit marked a meaningful milestone in ICM’s commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation in language teaching.

On the first day, the EWAN Institute team conducted the Arabic Teacher Development Program: “Advancing Innovative Approaches in Arabic Teaching.” The program, which was open to the public, welcomed Arabic language teachers from across the JABODETABEK area. The training focused on key topics such as the general principles of contemporary Arabic language teaching, innovative methods in instruction including communicative, active, and integrated learning, the use of modern media and technology in classrooms, and workshops on designing creative lesson plans and teaching simulations.

Alhamdulillah, the event ran smoothly and successfully. Beyond academic enrichment, the program fostered valuable connections among Arabic teachers, creating a space for sharing ideas, experiences, and best practices. Participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gain practical insights directly from the EWAN Institute team, whose expertise and passion for Arabic education truly inspired all who attended.

On the following day, the EWAN team continued their engagement through class visitations at ICM. They observed and taught Arabic lessons directly across various grade levels, from Grade 4 in Primary School to Grade 12 in High School. Both students and teachers were excited to experience their interactive and dynamic teaching approach. The sessions introduced fresh perspectives and creative strategies that brought new energy to the classroom and deepened students’ enthusiasm for learning Arabic.

Through this meaningful collaboration with the EWAN Institute, ICM continues to strengthen its Arabic language program with a focus on modern pedagogical methods, interactive learning, and global collaboration.
