Last week, Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani warmly welcomed a comparative study visit from Yayasan Daarut Tauhiid Rahmatan Lil ‘Aalamin, who came with the purpose of learning more about the implementation of the Cambridge International Curriculum at ICM. The visit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences, particularly in the integration of international education with Islamic values.
The program began with an opening and a prayer, followed by the division of guests into smaller discussion groups. These groups were arranged according to the visitors’ current roles and divisions in their respective schools, ensuring that each discussion could be more focused and relevant. In the academic session, the guests asked in detail about the application of the Cambridge Curriculum at ICM, how it has been implemented, at what level it currently stands, and for which grade levels it is applied.
The dialogue also covered ICM’s Islamic curriculum, which was explained directly by Tetra Nurtianty, ICM Tarbiyah Quality Assurance. She shared insights into how Islamic values and teachings are carefully integrated into students’ daily learning and activities, ensuring that academic excellence goes hand in hand with strong character and spiritual development.
After the discussions, the guests joined ICM’s community for Dzuhur prayer in congregation, which was then followed by a school tour. During the tour, they visited key facilities including ICM’s gender-specific dining halls (resto ikhwan and resto akhwat), the modern student dormitories, and various other facilities that support student learning and well-being.
The visit concluded with a group photo session, capturing the spirit of collaboration and shared commitment to education. ICM is honored by the visit from Yayasan Daarut Tauhiid Rahmatan Lil ‘Aalamin and looks forward to continued collaboration and knowledge sharing in the future.
