Entering the month of Rabi'ul Awal, all Muslims in the world remember the momentum of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad as a means to continue to renew their spirit at all times to love Allah and, of course, his messenger. This can be visualised in various ways, one of which has been implemented at Sekolah Insan Cendekia Madani. The momentum of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday is decorated with various essences of activities from the Play Group, Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, and High School levels who want to take wisdom from the birth of the Prophet Muhammad in the month full of Grace, the month of Rabiul Awal.
Various activities are carried out at all levels of the school as an effort to continue to love the lover of Allah who has been present on earth, both with a parade of Shalawat, public speaking or muhadharah competitions, activities to hone students' knowledge about Islam in the quiz and Ranking one competition, listening to the Prophet's story with storytelling media, taking lessons from meaningful sharing from Kak Fuadh Naim, and showing empathy for humanitarian disasters by raising funds for victims of war in Palestine.
All of these activities were packaged very neatly by the organising committee so that they could be presented to all students to continue to motivate students at all levels of school to emulate the morals and role models that had been taught directly by the Prophet Muhammad SAW during his 63 years of life and 23 years of spreading Islam throughout the world and until now it is still relevant and needed in various aspects of life, including in the world of education.
At the PG, KG, and PS levels, this activity was held on Friday, September 13, 2024, with the excitement that was built with various offerings and presentations of the events that were carried out. All students were carried away by the chanting of prayers during the prayer parade carried out by all PG, KG, and PS students around the streets in ICM area. Continued with a quiz competition starting from the preliminary round to the final round, also arranging Islamic puzzles for the lower level and taking wisdom from exciting fairy tales delivered by Kak Dimas Adista and Kak Tony. This excitement is to give all students an impact that the Prophet Muhammad is always remembered, always loved and his example is followed.
At the Middle and High school levels, the preliminary activities have been going on for one week with public speaking or muhadloroh activities, which have become routine weekly activities and are made into interesting competitions participated by representatives of each class. The peak day of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday celebration on Monday, September 16, 2024, began with the Ranking 1 competition to continue to hone and deepen Islamic knowledge with more varied and fun activity media for all students. The excitement became even more intense as the finalists approached the final session and the announcement of the winners because of the competitive spirit of the students who were always present as ICM students. The activity continued with the appearance of the muhadhoroh competition finalists who showed off their skills with public speaking materials prepared in the form of concern for Palestine. Moreover, this was supported by the closing of this session in the form of fundraising for Palestine in collaboration with ICM Amanah.
ICM Marawis performance became a medium of entertainment with shalawat anda Islamic songs that became a source of enthusiasm for students before the peak material was presented, namely sharing from Kak Fuadh Naim. Through sharing various things conveyed, he defines that being a young person requires an idol, being a figure who is still growing requires steps to take a role, being a person who wants to be a solution is a person whose role is most important in the Islamic world, being a young person requires an ideal figure. There is no need to make other people idols because the Prophet Muhammad saw is an ideal young man who will continue to be the ideal of his people until the end of time.
With all these activities, ICM students get two great essences that need to be continuously developed, namely, the presence of this activity makes all students continue to maintain friendships between levels and between generations to continue to strengthen the togetherness of the Islamic community. Next, the dream youth, the youth who is always remembered by his people, the person who is always loved and missed by his people, is the Prophet Muhammad . In the month of Rabi'ul Awal, he was born and passed away, whose intercession we await in the last days. May we all be included in the ummah that he dreams of as we dream of him as a role model.
