ECP Family Fun Day 2025: Bringing Families Together Through the Colors of Cultures
04 December 2025

The ECP Family Fun Day 2025 brought together a vibrant celebration of culture, learning, and togetherness under the theme “Bringing Families Together Through the Colors of Cultures.” Held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the ECP Building and ICM Sports Hall, the event aimed to strengthen family bonds, connect ECP families with one another, and enrich children’s learning through fun and meaningful activities.

The day began with Du’a and Murajaah, setting a warm and spiritual atmosphere before moving into the heart of the program, the performances. Students from all grade levels took the stage with lively presentations that showcased creativity and confidence. A highlight of the morning was the Playgroup’s “Pacu Jalur” performance, where the children joyfully invited their parents to dance along with them. Laughter filled the Sports Hall, creating a memorable moment of joy shared between students, parents, and teachers.

The event continued with two inspiring Guest Speakers. Mr. Ali shared heartfelt stories about his family and rich cultural traditions from Egypt, giving families a meaningful perspective on global heritage. Following him, Mr. Farrel introduced the audience to the culture of the Netherlands, even teaching a few Dutch words. Several students and parents who answered his quiz questions correctly were rewarded with special goodie bags, adding excitement to the session.

Families then explored a series of Cultural Exploration Activities designed to bring the world into the hands of young learners. In the Family Games area, children and parents played teamwork-based activities such as stacking cups. At the Food & Drink Tasting booth, they tried dishes from various cultures, including Shou Mian from China and creating their own matcha drink. Meanwhile, the Arts from Around the World corner featured creative crafts, such as making a South African–inspired beaded necklace, allowing children to express cultural appreciation through art.

Before closing the event, students and parents were asked to describe the Family Fun Day in one word and almost everyone answered the same: “Fun!” Their excitement captured the true spirit of the day. The celebration concluded with the Certificate Distribution for Explorers and a cheerful Group Photo Session, marking the end of a meaningful and heartwarming event.

The ECP Family Fun Day 2025 successfully reminded us that learning becomes richer and more joyful when families grow, laugh, and celebrate together. See you at next year’s Family Fun Day!
